The Uk leg Day 23 – South Queensferry, Aberdour & Culross

We said goodbye to Edinburgh this morning not before taking an early morning walk and coming across this stunning building, Playfair at Donaldson’s.

We then made our way to South Queensferry for a late breakfast in Scott’s at Port Edgar Marina. It’s all about the views sometimes.

Three bridges in one picture
The original bridge – an internal paint job!
Colourful houses in South Queensferry

After crossing the Firth of Forth, we went to the castle & beach in Aberdour.

Scotland’s oldest standing castle
Stunning Silver Sands beach
We were the only people on the beach
Wonderful views across the Forth
Fisherman….must get the grey beard dyed!

Tonight we are staying in a cool apartment in Culross, which whilst bijou has a reading space with an old fashioned dial up phone – very 1970’s!
