Our last full day in Manly and the tour was fittingly spent with friends.

A special thanks goes out to Caroline, a friend for over 35yrs who Andy first met in Liverpool at University and has remained a part of our lives ever since, notably as Amelia’s godmother and our go to person whenever we were planning a trip to Australia.

She has helped to make our three stays in Manly over the last 15months so very special.

So today we spent the morning and early afternoon back on the beach again and enjoyed our quality time together in the sunshine.

The evening was back at the Skiff Club close to Manly wharf where we were blessed with a glorious early evening of sunshine and stunning views.

We were joined by our Manly massive friends who have helped to make our various stays so very special and it really feels like a home from home.

It was a fun night with lots of laughter, tainted with some sadness because we won’t see these people again for some time. That said we will definitely be back, just a little unsure when and for how long.

Tomorrow is our final day with our flight leaving Sydney via Doha to London leaving at 9.40pm, leaving us most of the day to still look around Manly market and hit the beach and enjoy a hot day with temperatures due to hit 35c degrees!
